About Me

Saverio was born in a city that has always been a crossroads of cultures and peoples: Naples.
He studied at the Federico II University, where he studied Architecture. These are years full of cultural and ideological ferment, during which Saverio meets masters of architecture whom he appreciates for their passion and rigor towards history and design. In 1996 he moved to the Eternal City (Rome), where he met various personalities from the world of architecture of design and photography with whom he intertwined professional relationships that led to long-term friendships. In these years he works on the prototype of what will become his first idea of object design: the Nuvola (Cloud) lamp. The project is still an embryo, an idea, but it soon becomes a concept, a “style of thinking“.

In 2004 he moved to Paris, where he lived for a few years and where he continued his studies in the field of object design. And it is in Paris that he develops an innovation of the embryonic project of the Nuvola lamp, which began in the distant 1996. Nuvola will take on its final appearance, becoming a minimal technological tool, almost a personal object, which develops around the raw material that is «the light». In these years of stay in the Ville Lumière Nuvola is enjoying great success in the Parisian market and its production, although still in its initial phase, is much appreciated.

But it is precisely in the French period that Saverio has frequent contacts with another design capital, Milan. In this city he knows masters thanks to whom, by virtue of their valuable advice, he conceives the idea of what will become, only many years later, Lunenott. In 2009 he arrives in Turin and the life in the first capital of Italy, a city of industry and design, brings a new creative wave to Saverio, who perfects his studies on lighting techniques and reworks the ideas conceived during his stay in the French city in a new guise.

He currently lives between Turin and Milan.
